Good to have my mind opened upon occasion. I saw "Hunger Games" at the library the other day, and hope I won't regret not snapping it up! I'm currently reading a couple things, including a work of historical fiction, "Confucius Jade," by Frederick Fisher. Great look at the history and politics of China, and the region -- plus, I love that the author (a certified gemologist who traveled the world with his wife) is 89 years old and is still a volunteer with his fire district -- in fact, $1 from the sale of each copy of his book sold at an upcoming event will benefit his fire department/district. (And since my husband is a firefighter, I'm all for that.)Lizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12553309379795237911noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-532934508002111633.post-84838703459092515822010-04-06T08:32:27.489-04:002010-04-06T08:32:27.489-04:00Thanks for your wonderful review of Brian's bo...Thanks for your wonderful review of Brian's book.
