This year our school district started one week earlier than usual. It was odd having the first day in August, but as usual the first day of school is always exciting no matter when it happens. My youngest doesn't start preschool for another couple of weeks, but the rest are settling in to their new grade levels.

School starts really early here. Your children are adorable - I'm glad to see they're all settling in to school.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter loves her first day of homeschooling but confesses she's sorry she doesn't get to show off her swag to other kids (or to see theirs).
ReplyDeleteThose first days of the new school year always seem a little unreal, don't they? Looks like they're ready, though :)
ReplyDeleteaww, back to school, they look like they are ready! Book Savvy Babe
ReplyDeleteQuite a line up! It seems like school just starts earlier and earlier. Kids here started on about the 11th of August, I think (mine's now at Ivy Tech, so I'm a little out of the loop).

Oh! I can practically feel the excitement oozing out of that photo! Being a retired teacher, I still get butterflies in my stomach when this time of year rolls around! It was always so much fun to meet new students and start the job of forming a happy classroom community!
ReplyDeleteThey look so cute! I would love it if school started a week earlier - my kids get bored during our long summer.
ReplyDeleteLovely photo...one that will be treasured in years to come♫♪
ReplyDeleteThey look so keen and excited to go to school- great to see.
