Last weekend we picked up six goats so that the total number of goats we are co-owners of is up to 12.
This set has five females and one male.
They are pure blooded Boer goats.
They kids named them all, but the only one I can tell for sure is this one. This is Cookie with the brown spot on her back.
This one didn't come home with us because she is still growing and wasn't as big as the other females yet.

Goats are such funny animals, aren't they? I loved taking my boys to see them at the petting zoo when they were young.
ReplyDeleteCute! We love watching the goats at our local children's farm. Their eyes are mesmerizing.

Adorable! I wish I could have a goat. They looks so cute and I hear they do an excellent job of keeping the grass trimmed.
ReplyDeleteMy grandfather kept goats when my mother was young - she remembers them eating all the washing on line!
ReplyDeleteThey're so gorgeous. I'd love to have a goat.
ReplyDeleteI never thought I'd say this about a GOAT, but really, they are adorable! Look at those crazy oversize ears!
ReplyDeleteWhen I was a kid I went to a farm and someone's car window was open, and these goats were running around. One ran right up to me. I reached into this car and pulled out a pack of cigarettes that was in there and that goat ate all those cigarettes. It was bizarre. So I guess it's true they will eat almost anything.
I want a goat so bad! These are lovely!
ReplyDeleteThey are very cute! What are you going to do with them?
