It's Monday, What are you reading?

A lot of my reading is still audio books.  I really thought summer was going to afford more chances to sit and read, and I have had some, but we have been pretty busy having fun, going to the pool and water park, seeing movies, going to the library and visiting the goats that the time has been nowhere near as plentiful as I thought it would be.  I am managing to get reviews posted again which feels good, but I don't get to visit as many other blogs as I would like to.  Here is my past week:

Finished this week:
Barrel Fever and Other Stories by David Sedaris (audio)
Holidays on Ice by David Sedaris(audio)
Naked by David Sedaris (audio)
Me Talk Pretty One Day by David Sedaris (audio)

Still reading:
Home Front by Kristin Hannah (audio)
Outlander by Diana Gabaldon (reread)
Inkheart by Corneila Funke (audio)

I have a number of other books started, but I have them set to the side for now so I will mention them again when I pick them up for their turn.

  1. I am sure you did quite a bit of laughing with the Sedaris audios.

  2. I haven't read any of the books on your list this week. My favorite book from last week was Amy and Roger's Epic Detour by Morgan Matson. Please come see what else I'm reading.

  3. I have never read an audio book before. I've thought about it - but just love holding my book in my hands and speeding through my favorite parts...I definitely need to give at least one a try. :) Happy to have found you!

  5. I too find that audios can often move along quicker than print. Even Kindle I tend to 'listen' even if it is a mechanical voice.

I have heard of Me Talk Pretty but didn't realize he had written several other books too.
I can relate to not getting to visit enough. Sometimes it's a dilemma: visit other blogs or write a review? :-)
Glad you are having summer fun along with reading.
    Have a great week!

  7. How are you liking Home Front? I thought it was an amazing book - and I listened to it, as well. I really like Kristin Hannah's books.

    Have a great week!
