Doesn't everyone love finding a book to sink into and enjoy?
Great pictures! What fun for the kids! I'm not sure why you can't enter the linky on my site? Are you accessing my blog through a reader like Bloglovin or Feedly? I use Bloglovin and I know that, with certain blogs, I have open the post outside of the reader to be able to leave comments.
Oh, by the way, I just manually entered your link into the linky.
I love this time of year with children. Sadly mine are grown and want to stay indoors and watch Dr. Who on the TV rather than go out and look at light displays. Sigh.Anne's Saturday Snapshots
Looks very nice, it's great that you can get out and walk around and do things like get hot chocolate or whatever. We have a lighted Christmas drive but they don't have the snackies or the decorated windows. Those are a nice touch.
What great photos!!We took the kids every year to see all the Christmas displays and decorations when they were young. Now they're all grown up and I miss going. I told my husband a few days ago we need to start going again.
One of our Christmas traditions is to go for a ride on Christmas Eve and look at the Christmas light displays. It goes way back to the time when our kids were small and so excited that they were bouncing off the ceilings on Christmas Eve. A ride in the car always helped them settle down a bit ... Happy New Year and thanks for reminding me of those hectic and happy times!
Great photographs! Thanks for sharing!! Have a great 2014!Here is my snapshot post.
I've never heard of a Christmas light village, but can see why the kids love taking a peek.
Fun! Most of the Christmas light displays in our area are meant to be driven through. I like the idea of close-up displays to enjoy with a walk.
Beautiful and colourful! All best wishes for a wonderful New Year!
