It's Monday, What are you reading?

This is my third week participating in It's Monday, What are you reading? hosted by Sheila.  I'm afraid this week I got very little reading done.  We hosted a joint birthday party and Oktoberfest celebration at our house on Saturday, so that meant Friday and Saturday were spent getting ready and then the party took the rest of the day.  Sunday there was clean-up, a birthday party and a church event, then today turned into catch up for laundry and other house things.  Tomorrow is back to work.  I had a great weekend, but I missed reading!

I still need to review the audio book we finished last weekend, plus I read a little on my kindle just because it is such a fun novelty.  I also need to get started on a few review books.  I ended up returning a number of books to the library that I just knew I wouldn't be getting to this week or that were due.  I actually have a fine to pay because on Friday I forgot to go online and renew four that were due.

Books I've finished and need to review as of today:
Hank Zipper Day of the Iguana by Henry Winkler
20 Diet Myths-Busted by Zoe Harcombe

Hopefully I'll get more time to read this week!

  1. Aren't library books both the best thing ever and the biggest pain? When I request books, I inevitably get four of them at once and then have two weeks to read all of them...pressure! I swear the librarians have a picture of me behind the counter...:)
    Happy Reading!
